Introduction

Slacan Industries Inc is Canada's largest designer and manufacturer of Pole Line Hardware, and designs and supplies Substation and Structural Steelwork for the Utility Market as well as forgings, hot and cold stamping and weldments for the OEM market serving the agricultural, mining and other industries.

Communication Hardware

Slacan produces a complete line of hardware for the telephone and cable companies used on their overhead and underground installations. This includes devices for anchoring, guying, termination, suspension, grounding and tools.

Distribution Hardware

Slacan has a complete line of power distribution hardware from the substation to the service drop. The catalogue pages show the most common products used in anchoring and guying, suspension, dead-ending and grounding of cables, however, we have other products available. Although not listed, many products can be made to meet low temperature ductility (Charpy V notch) requirements. Contact us if you need something not found in the catalogue.

Slacan also manufactures a line of fiberglass brackets for mounting distribution circuits, guys strain rods and guy strain insulators to CEA standards, in various configurations and lengths.
