Increased Manufacturing Capacity

To continue Slacan’s focus on being the highest quality line hardware supplier, we have invested into our top-of-the-line technology to increase production capacity for Robotic Forging, robotic Welding, Automated Bending Cells, and Metallurgical Processing. Along with our investment into technological solutions, Slacan has doubled the engineering team to better serve all stages of product design and manufacturing to meet the needs of any project.

With this increased capacity, Slacan has the ability to increase shifts and expedite shorter lead times for critical projects. Extremely precise automation has helped us meet the growing demand for a modern solution and allows for the opportunity to run 24 hours in response to project demands and especially for storm response.

The fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic has also meant supply chain disruptions worldwide, Slacan is committed to expanding our supply chain of all raw materials in order to ensure that we have reduced the risk of SHORTAGES and DELAYS during production. We have contracted with many local and North American manufacturers of raw materials and local subcontractors. This has been a big focus for several years in an effort to be in better control of our supply chain and manufacturing.  We have implemented strategic stocking programs with multiple raw material suppliers for up to a year supply of critical and selected materials.

We encourage our customers and end-user (utilities) to do plant tours of our facility to better understand how our quality is built into every product manufactured at every critical process of production. We would welcome the opportunity to showcase our new state-of-the-art automation equipment, complete with robots to prove our long-term commitment for the next 100 years.
