Clevis: Thimble
The formed galvanized thimble clevis is normally used in conjunction with tongue style insulators for dead-ending of conductors, for the dead-ending of groundwires on structures, or for a guying attachment. It is an ideal fitting for use with wireformed dead-ends. Suffix H denotes cotter bolt, suffix E denotes bolt, nut and cotter pin.The TC-88 ductile iron thimble clevis is used in conjunction with tongue type insulators for deadending conductors.
