Pin: Crossarm Heavy Duty (Hot Galvanized)
SLACAN Heavy Duty Pins for high voltage use are forged steel with tapered bodies to provide maximum strength.Long shank pins (for wood crossarms) are equipped with one spur washer and square nut.
Short shank pins have a spring lock washer and square nut.
Other nut, washer, lockwasher combinations are available upon request.
To substitute semi-conductive nylon for lead threads, add suffix ''N'' to the Catalogue Number.
Strength class listed for crossarm and pole top pins are determined by loading the pins until a 10 degree deflection results.
Standard CSA 1 inch (25.4 mm) or 1 3/8 inch (34.9 mm) lead threads are permanently bonded to the galvanized body.
