Bond: Cable

The Cable Bond is a flexible rubber jacketed conductor, 6 ft (1830 mm) long, terminated at each end in a spring clamp, for attachment to the sheath of lead covered cables. It is used by communication companies to temporarily maintain the electrical continuity of the cable sheath when making splices.
