Slacan Industries is receiving- a Government of Canada investment of more than $3.5 million through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), to help strengthen our domestic manufacturing operations and improve capabilities and efficiency through systems upgrades and advanced automation and digital tools adoption. The team at Slacan appreciates the government’s continued support of Canadian manufacturing.

Since 1912, Slacan’s products have played an essential role in supporting the country’s electrical infrastructure, serving utilities from coast to coast. Today, Slacan employs approximately 200 people at a 200,000 square-foot facility in Brantford, Ontario.
Slacan also supports numerous Canadian suppliers and subcontractors through machining, heat treating, galvanizing, castings, stamping, tooling, transportation, and other manufacturing services, contributing to economic activity throughout the broader supply chain.
